Character

He is sure entertaining making all sorts of noises and his waddle cracks us up. He is always trying to follow his girlfriend around. His came to us from a family that had too many male ducks and not enough space for them. His mate was a duckling that was given to one of our Muscovy females that was so broody she was making herself sick since her eggs would not hatch. We snuck in a little duckling and she was immediately convinced it was her baby and had the "come let me love you" reaction. She took her under her wing and mothered her until she was old enough to be on her own and she found her mate. Often the female is enjoying a dip in our kiddie pool and the male just lays on the grass and rests his head on the edge of the pool and watches her.
